At Case Luxury we primarily use TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), PC (polycarbonate), or a hybrid of both. Each choice has strengths and trade-offs for impact behavior, clarity, scratch resistance, yellowing, and MagSafe flatness. Will TPU always yellow?
Not always—stabilized blends slow it significantly—but TPU is more prone than PC. If long-term clarity is top priority, choose hybrid or frosted finishes and follow gentle-care habits.

Does PC scratch easily?
PC is tough but not scratch-proof. Micro-texture helps mask fine scuffs, and weekly gentle cleaning removes grit that causes hairlines.

Is hybrid heavier?
